My name is Lucy, and I am a 21 year old languages student. I set up tales from abroad as a way to show people what I got up to on my year abroad, which is the compulsory third year of my degree.
From October 2011 to February 2012 I studied in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. From March until the end of July I am studying in Soka, Japan.
I mostly write about places I have visited and daily life. My main aim is to show people what life is like in these different countries, and hopefully my experiences may help anyone who is considering travelling abroad to study (or work, or sightsee ^_~).
As I come to the end of my year abroad the focus of the blog might change somewhat, but this has yet to be decided ^_^
